Dr. Ananya Michera was born and raised in Northern Virginia and then attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia for both her undergraduate and dental degrees. She then completed a General Practice Residency at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Hospital to further her skills in general dentistry.

Dr. Michera moved to New Jersey after getting married and is very excited to treat patients in her new home state! Dr. Michera loves developing a personal relationship with her patients, allowing her to communicate the best treatment options for them. She believes that good oral health care is such an important part of overall health and strives to keep her patients healthy.

Dr. Michera participates in continuing education to stay up to date on her dental knowledge and also belongs to the Academy of General Dentistry.

In her free time, Dr. Michera enjoys exploring coffee shops and bakeries and she also likes to stay active by going on hikes with her husband and dog, Mila. She likes to read and is currently a part of a book club. But mostly, Dr. Michera loves catching up with friends and family by trying new restaurants in the area – especially Thai food!
