A longtime resident of Southern New Jersey, Dr. Cohen grew up in Cherry Hill, where he was fully educated from kindergarten through high school. Dr. Cohen studied and attained his Bachelor of Science degree at Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA from 1983-1987. He majored in Chemistry and minored in Biology and Math. Dr. Cohen continued his education after being accepted to Temple University School of Dentistry in 1987. He graduated in the top third of his class in 1991 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. He belonged to the Oral Surgery, Periodontology, and Endodontic Honor Societies during his tenure. He was commissioned as a lieutenant in the Public Health Service in 1991, where he worked for two and a half years in a federal prison in Lake Placid, New York. Dr. Cohen was then married in 1994 and moved back to Cherry Hill.
Dr. Cohen loves to do many aspects of dentistry, including root canals, bleaching, extractions, fillings, dentures, and restoring implants. His specialties include crowns, bridges, extractions, and restoring implants, which allows him to complete comprehensive cases. Dr. Cohen has been a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Philadelphia Dental Society, New Jersey Dental Association, and Southern Dental Society.
Dr. Cohen resides in Cherry Hill, NJ with his wife Wendi and four children, Caylah, Lauryn, Hailey, and Joshua and their two dogs, Emily and Lucky. He also has a beautiful grandchild named Alana who lives in Towson, MD. His hobbies include bowling, computers, and he loves to play softball when it is warm.
