A lifelong resident of the Delaware Valley, Dr. Kaltz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biochemistry and mathematics from Temple University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with honors in math. In his undergraduate training, he received a Certificate of Achievement from the College of Liberal Arts Honors Program and made the Dean’s List each year.
Dr. Kaltz graduated Temple University School of Dentistry in 1987, having won the Arthur W. Gage Award for highest average in the senior examinations. While in dental school, he was a member of the American Student Dental Association, the Periodontal Honor Society and the St. George Oral Cancer Society. In his senior year, he was elected to the Kappa Kappa chapter of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society (the academic honor roll for dental students).
Dr. Kaltz is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and was awarded Fellowship in July, 2000. This signifies the successful completion of at least 500 hours of continuing dental education and the passing of a comprehensive 400-question written examination. Currently, he is in the process of fulfilling the requirements for Mastership in the Academy, which entails an additional 600 hours of continuing education.
Dr. Kaltz makes his home in Bucks County with his wife, Wendy, and their two children.
